The room was ver cozy and comfortable. The service in the bar and at breakfast was great and the food/ drinks affordable. Everything was amazing and I would return.

It was a little funky that the toilet door led directly into the room and didn't close properly from the inside.

room is a slightly strange layout and the spa isn’t currently fully functioning. there was only a steam room, the sauna was barely warm and no water in the pool.

Nothing major. Would be nice if spa /wellness facilities were open. Bathrobes in denim not so comfy. Perhaps, when time comes to replace those, the hotel could consider the classics of a fluffy softer ones. Rooms are small! I think their names / grading are quite misleading vs their actual size and as above bathrooms take way too much space

There was a delicious breakfast, all staff were very friendly and the hotel is very well located to see the sights and for public transport

There were a couple of issues with the room, the basin plug did not fit so the water kept draining out and also a standard light socket did not fit. However, the hotel was excellent and, as they could not fix it immediately, they gave us some complimentary drinks

Great location just off the main road, next to a canal. Little traffic so the hotel is quiet. Rooms are clean, tidy. Good shower. Bed is comfy. Staff was friendly. Cannot comment on the resturant as we did not use it/ was closed.

No price list for the mini bar - nor any indication that the items are not included in the room price, which is decieving. Fridge is not really cold and seems a common theme throughout other reviews.

Very comfortable bed, beautiful decor... felt very homely and safe, the staff are friendly and helpful, the food is tasty and made with care, and a fabulous wine selection.

The shower was fabulous with strong pressure, but the water leaked out into the room so we needed extra towels to mop up. It's a strange design.

The hotel is beautiful, linens and bed very comfy. The rooms are spacious, bright and clean and the bathrooms are large with plenty of vanity room, with nice rain shower! We really love this hotel! Booked it twice already with my husband and our friends and we will be back for sure! Wouldn’t stay anywhere else when in Hamburg! Location is terrific!

I can’t say one negative word about this hotel. It’s perfect.

The hotel was easy to find, and had lovely decor. There was a very well-stocked mini-bar (but with prices to match!) The breakfast was very generous, but not quick.

The shower area was in a small room that felt like a camping facility! Also missed extras like slippers, robes or a hairdryer,. And the check-in process was very lengthy. We also hoped for a quick breakfast, but there was a 'serve yourself system' for coffee that took quite a lot of time and changed the vibe of our breakfast. All in all, not what we were hoping for at this pricepoint.
