Very close to the Friedrichstraße station, with a direct S-Bahn service to the airport. Quiet, comfortable, well-equipped room with armchair. Very good buffet breakfast, although crowded on the Saturday morning of my stay. Friendly, helpful, well-trained staff. The complimentary winter tea, hot chestnuts and biscuits in available during the day in Reception were much appreciated.

I couldn't seem to increase my room temperature above 21C. The service in the Bar was rather slow and the prices a bit steep, as were those of the mini-bar in my room.

I had the pleasure of staying there for 5 nights. Location: I really enjoyed the location, as it's very central and convenient as a base to explore places. As a solo business traveler. The neighborhood is safe and tourist-centric. Lots of shops and restaurants the moment you leave the hotel. Staff: Very professional and friendly consistently from the front desk to breakfast. Breakfast: Lots of variety to choose from. It is quite delicious and has nice seating areas. Room: The bed and pillows very comfortable. The heaters worked really well.

Housekeeping: to be environmentally conscious, I requested housekeeping for just one day. However, when I returned the room was overall cleaned but it seemed like it was rushed as I still found hairs on the floor and bed. Bedside table moved (i assumed for better cleaning) but not moved back to its place, etc. Noise: You can hear people quite clearly in the hallways when they pass by, especially at night. They should consider installing more soundproof doors.

Very large rooms, bathrooms and beds. Very clean. Vegan breakfast options: cold cuts, spreads, bread, mueslis, soy yogurt, fruits, avocado, plant based milks, breads etc. Underground parking accessible directly via hotel lift, so very easy to get bags to and from car. Other cool’s items included: very quiet rooms, Proper coffee machine, bottled waters, steamer, focus on sustainability. Late check out was possible, for a small hourly fee. Cool vegan restaurant and coffee shop options all around the hotel, and very close walking distance to all tourist attractions.

The view from room wasn’t great, but that’s just Berlin centre.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! The location is unbeatable, with all the important landmarks just a short walk away and one of the main train and tramway stations 2-3 minutes walk away. The cleanliness of the property is impeccable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The Christmas decoration is beautiful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The highlight, though, was the breakfast—definitely one of the best we've ever had! Every detail was perfect, and we truly felt at home. Thank you for everything! We will definitely return for another stay. Highly recommended!

The staff was wonderful and patient. The hotel itself is located in Mitte, right next to the train station, tram, everything. You have a train from the airport that reaches right to the hotel. The rooms were great and with lots of space, at first we got a room for handicap (with a custom shower for that) that we didn't like + 2 single beds. I asked to move to another room with a double bed, and they gave me a great room. Overall everything was amazing!!!

That I got a room for handicap and 2 single beds, but I booked the hotel 2 days before we arrived so maybe they didn't have standard rooms left.

The room was fabulous. The bed was large with a comfortable mattress. The bathroom towels were big , having a bath and a shower was amazing, such a treat! All the staff were very nice, helpful, and efficient. The hotel is managed very well by a predominately young work force. All were great! The breakfast buffet was good, and it never felt too hectic or un relaxing. There was so much choice, it was very generous and good quality - for me personally though far more than I would ever have. Location was really good for museums and getting to the main sights of Berlin. Couldn’t have been better really.

The pillows were rather too unsupportive and the bedding was a bit unbreathable

We stayed one night at NH Collection Berlin Mitte Friedrichstrasse after returning from our holiday, and it was the perfect end to our trip. The location is unbeatable — right next to Berlin’s main attractions and super easy to reach from the airport. The room was spotless, modern, and extremely comfortable. We especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and that our request for a room on the peaceful side with a nice view was fulfilled. The staff was friendly, professional, and made check-in a breeze. We didn’t have breakfast this time, but the lounge area and restaurant looked beautiful. Highly recommended for couples or travelers who want a central, relaxing, and stylish place to stay in Berlin. We’ll definitely return!

All my misgivings (see below) were gone when I saw my final room - a spacious studio apartment, with a separate bedroom space, and very nice decor. Breakfast was superb. The young man at the reception on the night of the check in was very attentive and polite.

It was my fault that I confused two NH hotels and, after walking back and forth between Friedrichstrasse and Checkpoint Charlie, finally arrived at my destination two hours after the expected arrival time. But the troubles were not over: when I opened the door to what I thought was my room, there was already someone in there, who seemed quite worried at the sight of a stranger barging into the room. It turns out that there was a mix-up of keys at the reception (I was given somebody else's room number and key). However, my (final) room was so nice that I cannot complain much.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I was able to make an early check-in the day i arrived which was very thoughtful. The location is fantastic - U-Bahn, tram, and S-Bahn stations are all nearby, and the area is full of great restaurants and cafés. My room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. Would definitely stay here again!

Only things were the bathroom that wasn’t as clean as I expected, and the shower design caused water to spread across the floor while showering.

The hotel is very nice, clean, and offers daily housekeeping. The bed is extremely comfortable, making it perfect for a restful stay. The area is lively, so you feel safe with people around. The staff is willing to help you! It was my birthday during our stay, and they surprised us with complimentary drinks, which was such a thoughtful and lovely gesture

we were initially given a room on the side above the train station, which was quite noisy—challenging for anyone who has trouble sleeping with sounds. However, we asked reception to change our room, and they were very accommodating, promptly moving us to a quieter one. Additionally, there are a few homeless individuals along the main road, so it’s good to be a bit cautious when going out. That said, there’s nothing particularly concerning about it.
