Comfortable and as perfect for what was needed. The hotel was very conveniently located right next to a main rail line.
The hotel was a bit old and would need a bit of touching up for those a bit more fussy. But worked for a cheaper trip to Berlin.

my expectations were low after reading the reviews here but it managed to surprised me. itâs an old hotel and staff only speaks German, but itâs a good value for the price. Iâd have to stay at a much worse hostel for the same price.
itâs a bit far from the city center and the area looks a bit shady at night

I truly enjoyed my stay at this family run hotel. It is a nice break from other motels/hotels which all conform to the same business standards. The rooms have real keys which brought me back to the days of my childhood. The location was great for taking the train, and the Sudanese restaurant below was amazing! Highly recommend this establishment.
