Hotel is very clean with big rooms and great facilities. Breakfast was very good although the old style breakfast room felt a bit outdated. Hotel is a nice short walk from town center.

The staff at the reception was less than friendly . I have asked for some information regarding parking because I did not completely understand the signs on the street and in the end I did not get it. Also the conversation was unpleasant. I did not feel like a welcomed guest in the hotel.

The room was great

While I had a great experience, my travel companion was very upset, that after she told the front staff about her physical limitations ( no elevator usage, CPOD) she was placed on the very top floor, which prevented me from assisting her with her bags, as the elevator only went to 2. ( I am older and as a rule, I personally use only small carryon bags, because I can transport them on steps, but I cannot manage large bags on stairs. She had a large bag.)This affected me because she was so upset by what happened that she could not function and I wound up visiting the Nuremberg Christmas Markets alone, having meals alone etc. As a general rule, it might be a good idea to give those third floor rooms to people without physical limitations.

Great location, walking distance to the center. Parking convenient in the underground -18 eur/day. Good breakfast- plenty of choices and large enough dining space to accommodate everybody. Pet friendly. They even prepared bowls with water and food in the room. There is a small park just in front of the hotel so our dog was happy.

It is not cheap but to be expected in this location. Coffee was not great.

Impressive building, excellent room, quiet, lots of space, but without air conditioning - could it be due to the fact that the building is a historical one? Anyway, during our stay it was not necessary. Very good parking place for our car.

Good breakfast, but the coffee was simply awful (the coffee beans were smelling very bad). The gym was small, with old equipment and some of the dumbbells were disassembled.

The beds were very comfortable. I needed a second pillow which was provided immediately. The breakfast was amazing, one of the best I‘ve ever had at a hotel. There were a lot of guests but no line-ups for the buffet and servers who also provided coffee and tea and kept the tables clean and clear. You could also sit outside on the big front patio. The location of the hotel is perfect, easy walking distance to see the sites. It‘s a big seminar hotel but it was still quiet.

There was an exceptionally long walk to our room. The bathroom was a bit dated and the tiles could have used a good scrub and bleach. There was no mini bar / refrigerator in the room but the staff kindly put our thermos cooler blocks into a hotel freezer and remembered to get them for us when we checked out. Still, the little refrigerator was missed.

Beautifully appointed room, though quite small. Finishings and colour palate were lovely. Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was superb, excellent perk. Also, the option to forego housekeeping and receive a complimentary drink per guest was a great incentive. Hotel was a quick walk to historic Bamberg. We loved our stay here.

Room was noisy as it was on the road side. Also, with no air conditioning the room was very hot. The staff provided a fan upon request which made the temperature more comfortable for sleeping.

The building is fantastic and gives you a good vibe while staying. Has an underground parking. Rich breakfast. Walking distance to town center and nicely located by the river. Very dog friendly

The rooms are a little dated and not well sound proofed so you can hear anybody walking by and talking

Good sized room and a friendly staff. Breakfast was good and had enough to offer. Restaurant was better than expected with a friendly and helpfull staff. The menu maybe not that big but very tasteful.

The room was very warm on arrival. No aircodition available so we had to keep the window open to cool it down.

Great location with easy onsite parking. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We did get extra pillows from reception as we like more than one each. Breakfast buffet was good with lots of variety. We went before 9 as it was less busy. Location to major attractions was within easy walking distance. We ate at the restaurant one night which was good value. The meals were exceptional with steak cooked to perfection.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good location. Convenient parking. Breakfast was great. Overall a very pleasant stay!

The fitness room is limited. Technogym treadmill and cross-trainer are very good, but the rest of the fitness room is sub-standard/non-existant.
