This is a small five room B&B Which you are essentially sharing with a family of five husband , wife and three boys. The wife basically runs the b& b and runs it very well. I only saw my room and the one next door both were well furnished attractive and completely different from one another so I imagine the other three rooms are also unique. The location is a short walk from the Lille Flanders train station and just a little further to the Lille Europe station if you’re coming from real Europe with a bunch of baggage I would suggest a taxi or an Uber, The location is in between old Lille and the fine arts museum both of which are a short walk away. The breakfast is mostly breads cheeses cereal juice pastries more than enough to get the day started. Don’t be deterred by the 5 PM check out it’s very easy to arrange an earlier check in or just to drop off of your bags Given the comfort of the rooms and the breakfast area combined with the location and price makes this an excellent value for Lillle. Sadly if you have trouble with stairs this is not the place for you: Reception is on the first floor , rooms start on the second floor and there’s no elevator. Aside from that you really can’t go wrong staying here

I wouldn’t say dislike but breakfast while adequate could have some more choices.

Good location, very well decorated and a cosy environment. The host is very friendly and flexible. The builing provides a "home" feeling :D

Because it's an ancient building, you can ear the noise from the upper room and, consequently, also make noise. The "audio isolation" is the only negative factor.

Our room was lovely and spacious, with a big bathroom. It was warm and comfortable, with a kettle and coffee machine. The bed was really comfortable, and as the B&B is on a very quiet street we got a great night's sleep. The breakfast was excellent. The hosts were very responsive and helpful - and we were able to leave our bags after we'd checked out until late afternoon when our train went. The B&B is an easy 15-minute walk from the Lille stations, so excellent if you are travelling by train; it's also very near the centre of the old town and just up the road from the Palais des Beaux Arts. There's also a great little cafe across the road for lunches and snacks.

Fantastic location and very comfortable room. Breakfast was lovely and owners were very accommodating. The room was very quiet even though we were in the middle of Lille.

Caroline was incredibly helpful in explaining the city, and showing us our accommodation. Our room was excellent with everything we needed. Breakfast was very good. The location was great - an easy walk from the city centre and not too far from the Metro. Although it's a city centre location it was not noisy at night.

The stairs to the accommodation were unexpected and very steep - this would be a problem for anyone with mobility issues. The shower tray was incredibly slippery - I nearly fell over a couple of times!

Location was perfectly situated for access to the centre of Lille and all the shops, bars and restaurants in the vicinity and yet down a quiet street. The room was very spacious and homely. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was fairly simple but enough choice to start the day off well.

It would have been nicer to be able to check in earlier than 5pm, but there was an option to drop our bags off after 3pm.

The owner was kind and I had a peaceful stay. The room on the 4th floor was comfortable, airy and refreshing with a great view. The fresh and simple breakfast was delicious. I would like to visit again.

There is no elevator, so if you have a lot of luggage or are elderly, it is better to choose a room on the lower floor. It is fine for those who are healthy.

Good location in a quiet street just a 10 minutes’ walk from the Lille Flandres railway station. A very friendly and welcoming owner. The room and bathroom were impeccably clean. There were as well coffee and tea making facilities in the room. Breakfast was varied and very good.

Reception is on the first floor and our room was on the second floor; there is no elevator so be sure you have sufficient mobility

Good pre-arrival communication. Nice and comfortable room. Good breakfast. excellent location within walking distance of the inner city as well as of the congress center.

All was very good; however, one needs to know there is no elevator (which is not uncommon at all in older European houses!). There is no parking on site, but a very reasonably priced public parking is at approximately 5 minutes walking distance!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. We were warmly welcomed and our heavy suitcases were carried upstairs for us. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were attractively presented. The highlight of our visit was the exceptional breakfast which would be hard to beat. The range, quality and freshness of the produce really impressed us. We would happily stay here again, especially if travelling by train as the station was quite close by.
