Easy to find close to the centre of Avallon. The hotel has plenty of car parking on the street at the front of the hotel or in the car park at the rear. We were able to park our motorcycles in their secure garage the first night but not the second as it was full of bicycle. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. Ours came with a terrace and a resident squirrel. The food is very good and well priced. It. Is a short walk into town if you want to enjoy the sights. There is also a very friendly, very big, husky at the hotel called Ashka (not sure about the spelling).

This is the second time we have stayed at Les Capucins and this time we had the opportunity to eat at their restaurant, the food was amazing and reasonably priced. The room was very clean and comfortable and was perfect for our stay with our dog as we had direct access to the garden.

The croissants for breakfast are really good but I wish there were more of them there as they are quite tiny but it feels greedy to take too many of them when there are other guests.

Central location, but quiet. Safe parking. Family run and friendly. Decent restaurant with a wide choice of meals, that provided a great finish to a wonderful day.

Our room on the top floor was a bit shabby, but for the price, it was fair.

Private parking, friendly staff, nice restaurant and convenient location. It was easy access from the motorway and short stroll into the centre of town. Spacious room and clean.

Rooms a good size & clean. Air con. Reasonably priced for a family stay. We were going to a wedding at l'Avalonnaise - very handy for the venue

Our room was in the garden area which was beautiful. Ww have stayed in a number of hotels ovee the last 12 days and this one is the best yet. The eoom is spacious and spotless. The staff are vwey welcoming and friendly. We had an evening meal i. The terrace. Some of the best food we have ever tasted. Thank you to the staff for makingbour stay comfortable.

Good sized clean room in the modern extension with access to the garden area. Within walking distance of the town centre. Good breakfast. We had dinner at the hotel & it was very good. Good off-street parking too.

Stayed with a cat and a dog, and there were no issues. Had access to a garden directly from the room. Room and bathroom were great. Really comfy big bed and nice big walk in shower. The breakfast was really good overall, a continental buffet with a selection of pastries, breads, cheese and fruits etc.

The extra charges for staying with pets weren't advertised when I booked, it wasn't a big issue as it was only 4euro per pet but it would have been nice to see that on booking.com beforehand.

The building is beautiful, and I loved the rooms and the restaurant. The owners even allowed me to park my motorcycle in the private garage at the rear. Lovely, I will book in the future.

The room was pleasantly decorated - personal rather than corporate. The bed was comfortable and spacious and the shower excellent. We enjoyed the meal in the evening and I think it was an excellent choice...better than what was on offer in the town and good value. The staff were attentive and friendly too. It is a short stroll to the old part of the town, but quiet and secluded, so an excellent location.
