Self check-in was quite convenient. I entered a warm, cozy room with all the necessary comforts. The bed was surprisingly very comfortable, the perfect firmness for me. The public spaces were quiet, rooms were well insulated. The bathroom was modern and kept very clean. I must say I was pleasantly surprised.

I walked from the bus stop and took a while to find the entrance of the building... There was construction going on in the intersection and I followed google maps which was not a good idea. It was also snowing/raining so made things extra difficult. Tip: If walking from the bus stop from the airport, once you arrive to the intersection, there is a large covered walkway that goes across the road. Take that walkway and you arrive directly in front of the building. The entrance is next to the indian restaurant and the sign is quite small (I wish I had known this before!)

The most important....A few minutes from Hakaniemi metro, tram and bus station. Tram 7 takes you to Senate Square in less than 20 minutes. Easy to check in. The place was quiet, clean and well organized. Communication in time. The bed was comfortable and l had everything I needed. I felt secure. There are also city offices at the building. The guy who received (l forgot his name🤦🏻‍♀️he wears glasses) me also guided me to the uber pick up point which is at the parking side. I really appreciated it. €25 euros vía uber to the airport if you are kind of late to take the metro as l was. The metro is around 50 minutes to The airport from the location. I liked the view. I am glad I stayed here. A happy solo travel recommendations🤩

This place is pretty ok if you just need to stay a night in Helsinki. Nothing fancy, but everything is clean and close to the city center. Low price is the reason to stay there.

This hostel is located at the 9th floor of a bigger building, so you need a code to enter the front door. Hostel forgot to send me the code, so I was not able to enter. Luckily a guy from the contact number picked the phone. Please make sure that you have received the codes, otherwise it may happen that you spend the night on the street. Ps. There is no administrator in the hostel, he answers your call from the distance.

Once we found our bearings the location was perfect. It is slightly outside the city centre and located above a main road in an aray of building blocks, however if you like to walk like we do it's great! You will not get better value in Helsinki. The showers/toilets even though shared, were kept spotless. There are some kitchen facilities, as well as a washing machine and ironing board,which was an absolute must as we had pretty much run out of clean clothes! It's nice and quiet, and in the location that it's set is an amazing Indian restaurant on the ground floor! There is also a supermarket across the little square as well as a pub.

The only grumble I would have is that the room for 4 is just too small for 2 adults, 1 teenager who is over 6 foot and a 10 year old. There were 2 single beds and a sofa bed,so once that's in play there is not much room at all.

Location of the hostel was great. It was hard to find at first but once there, it was very easy to walk into the centre of Helsinki. Staff weren't on site but came when I had a request and that was really appreciated! Room was clean, tidy and comfortable with everything you need for a short stay. Overall, would recommend as great value for money.

I would update the pillows as they weren't very comfortable and put in shorter curtains as they kept getting stuck in the side of the bed. The rooms weren't that soundproofed either so I was kept awake by a party elsewhere in the building. Definitely not a place to get good sleep.

We had a beautiful little room. It was nice and bright and we had an amazing view. There was also a really lovely little food place in the courtyard outside, we were pleasantly suprised by the price and quality of food there.

We only stayed one night, and check-in and check out was very simple. We were sent all the information before our check-in and didn't need to see a member of staff for check out. We never saw any staff around during our stay however, which felt a little strange checking in and out without speaking to anyone.

Good value for money - not expensive, basic facilities provided, room was warm and clean, toilets also clean. Wifi was good albeit not always reliable. Self check-in was easy to understand. Location convenient, roughly 10 mins walk from nearest metro station.

Shower temperature seemed to be stuck - it was hot and I couldn't seem to change that. Room was warm but also a bit stuffy - could not open windows for fresh air. Couldn't get TV in room to work.

The hostel is located near the shore and the city center. The facilities are decent, and the rooms are clean with adequate acoustics. Additionally, the staff is friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. The inclusion of kettles and coffee machines in the rooms is a great touch.

The architecture of the building is quite uninteresting, featuring concrete and an overall grayness. There were construction works outside, so the view from the window was not optimal. Rooms are accessed by keys which makes it a bit less flexible for few guests in a room.

I stayed in a small room with two single beds, which was clean and tidy - perfect for an overnight visit. The warmth of the room made it cozy, and while there were 3 or 4 shared toilets and showers for several rooms, they were well-maintained. The check-in process was straightforward, as I received an entrance code after booking on Booking.com. Overall, it was a practical choice for a short stay.

Met my expectations

Newness, cleanness and a nice walk to trains, market stall and even Viking cruise liner

At first it was hard to find location, maybe a picture of the building and a picture of the ramp leading to the Hotel building.Tourist Inn is inside. Also clear instructions maybe a day or so prior to arrival on what is expected to happen. For example: at door a on code is required. It is the first time I had encountered this on my Europe travels. The road works also made it hard to find and led you under the building to the car park, thankfully a friendly local navigated me to where I was suppose to be.
