The property is centrally located. Walking distance from many tourist locations & many restaurants just around the corner. Its clean, comfortable & breakfast was excellent.

Initially they said the hotel is overbooked so they wanted to move us to a different property, which we strongly objected & denied. Then as a compensation they offered us private rooms as we had booked bunk beds. I appreciate if the hotel takes this as a note and avoid overbooking & sending guests to other properties.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. The double room was very big and spacious. The location of the hostel is quite central and located on a lively street. Also, the building was much cleaner and better maintained than other hostels in Cairo.

Although I booked a room with a balcony, I was placed in a room without a balcony for the first time. When I explained the situation, they gave me a different room, but this time it was a room with a French balcony. Since this is an important criterion for me and I even sent a message 1 month before my arrival, I would have expected more attention. Thank you anyway for at least trying to solve the situation.

Good location in the centre of Cairo. The rooms are clean, the staff is kind and helpful. Breakfast is the same every day, but very good. I can definitely recommend this hostel.

The reception is located on the 3rd floor. I think it would be appropriate to include this information in the elevator to the button. It would have helped us.

The location is great! Being able to walk around downtown is such a plus! The rooms are clean and the staff is very nice and gets you whatever you need! The beds are also very comfortable.

To be honest, When we first saw our room we were a bit disappointed since the pictures look nicer. But some of that is due to the lightbulb choices (white vs warm). HOWEVER after talking to others and eating at other hotel bars and restaurants, we realized quite fast that this place is definitely one of the best places to stay! Other more expensive hotels were dirty and moisty and have locations where you always need to take a taxi. Thus we definitely recommend staying here!!

Room Comfort & Convenience: The room, though simple, was adequately spacious for my friend and me. The beds were surprisingly comfortable after long days of exploring, and we really appreciated the individual power outlets near the beds for charging devices. Prime Location: The hostel's location was undoubtedly its biggest strength. It was incredibly central, making it easy to walk to major attractions like the Egyptian Museum and a variety of local eateries. Public transport links were also readily accessible, which was a huge plus for getting around the city. The vibrant atmosphere of the surrounding area added to the overall Cairo experience. Common Area Cleanliness: The common areas, especially the reception, were consistently well-maintained and appeared clean. The staff made a visible effort to keep these spaces tidy throughout the day.

Room Aesthetics & Noise: The decor in the room felt quite dated, and the lighting was a bit dim, making it feel less inviting. There was also a noticeable issue with noise transfer from the outside, which occasionally disturbed our sleep. Chaotic Surroundings: While central, the immediate street could be quite chaotic and noisy, especially in the evenings, which might not suit those looking for a very quiet retreat. Finding the entrance initially was also a bit tricky amidst the bustling street. Inconsistent Cleanliness (Stairs): While our room itself was generally clean upon arrival, the stairs leading to the hostel were not clean.

Well situated central location. Friendly staff and a chilled atmosphere. Clean for the most part too. One of the cheapest places to stay in Cairo. Nice addition of curtains for the bunk beds in the dormitory rooms.

In the afternoons and evenings the road is very busy so taxis and Ubers can take a while. There was only one small bathroom for those in the dormitory to use, not an issue during quiet periods but would be if it was busy. My bed sheet had bits all over it so I'm not sure how clean they are, I slept on top of the blanket as a result.

This hotel really charmed us. We were warmly welcomed. The staff is very helpful. They do their best to help you and inform you. The rooms are large, clean and the bedding is excellent. The hotel is very well located. It's downtown. It is a ten minute walk from Tahrir Square (the most important square in Cairo where the great Egyptian museum is located). From the hotel, to go to the pyramids, it’s easy. The neighborhood is nice (there are plenty of stores, restaurants) and yet, the rooms are quiet. The breakfast is very good.

The hotel staff were absolutely great - always ready to help regardless of the time. They arranged excursions for me as well as airport transfers. The room was spacious and had a balcony, furniture was basic but nevertheless clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but delicious! WiFi was very strong. Location was absolutely fantastic. Keep in mind that the central location also means street noise. Good to know: reception is on the third floor, there is no sign below.

The shower temperature was difficult to regulate.

Excellent location, rooms and breakfast and they will also help with taxis and tours. great coffee next door. Staff warm and friendly, facilities excellent, room was super clean, AC, bidet, wardrobe, tv, shower gels supplied, fridge and kettle in our room, breakfast great. We had the triple room but for 2 people it was HUGE. There were some citywide power cuts but this was fine and they did everything to help. My friend and I are going to return in winter with our children to try out the larger apartments.

Only thing I could say is more plug sockets/ less lights!

We booked a private room for two and it was an incredible experience throughout our stay! The rooms were clean and spacious. The location was brilliant as it was in an art déco hertitage structure in Downtown Cairo which has all the amenities and is really a happening place at night! We also had a balcony that gave us amazing views of the place. Breakfast was an ample and healthy serving of ful, khuboos, tomatoes and cucumber, falafels and a cup of tea or coffee! All of the hosts I interacted with - Mahmoud, Joseph, Kerlos, Rami and Micheal were really friendly, Hospitable and knowledgeable about things to do/see/buy in and around Cairo. A must to stay here for a great Cairo trip at superb value for money!
