The view was stunning! Definitely worth choosing the sea view room. The location is very nice, with a park just outside and some pretty scenic spots close by. It's also very convenient located. It's close to the intercity bus station and there is a bus to the airport around 10 min walk from the hotel. The staffs were very friendly and helpful.

We were extremely impressed with all aspects of this venture. They have been in business for 50 years and have perfected a winning formula..It's a 2* hotel so you're spared the gym,beauty salon, spa etc,and there's no muzak!Everyone we dealt with from being greeted and welcomed by Adonis was lovely,friendly and helpful. Everywhere was spotlessly clean.Our room was spacious and had an amazing view over the town to the coast.There is a small car park.As others have commented the breakfasts were first class,among the best of any we've had anywhere. We were genuinely sorry to leave and would wholeheartedly recommend the hotel.

We spent an amazing week in Axiothea! The best hotel in Pafos! Very clean room, comfortable bed, big closet and beautiful sea view. We couldn’t get enough of the view, both from the balcony and the breakfast area. We recommend to upgrade to a sea view room, it is totally worth it! We also had a fridge and a kettle. The cleaning service was provided daily with changing towels (not daily but enough). The hotel parking is free of charge, you don't need a reservation - if there is spot available, you can park there. The parking also has a beautiful view :) The staff was always friendly! The breakfast was also really good, especially the fruit and the variety of homemade jams. The really cool thing was getting a bottle of water as a welcoming gift which you could refill anytime you want to from the dispenser located in a breakfast room. We were grateful to have a possibility of free water, especially due to the hot weather. We bought additional bottle for just 1€. The location is also perfect for more active visitors. The hotel on its own is really calm though so I guess a little better than the typical resorts. It is right in the old town filled with amazing restaurants. It is a bit further to the sea but we had a rental car which is highly recommended to have while visiting Cyprus. We had a really great stay there and would definitely come back one day!

The only minuses we have encountered were some mishaps with towel exchange or we found the breakfast a bit monotonous after a week, but it’s nothing that would change our mind about the hotel.

The sea view was so lovely, and the sunsets just amazing. They accepted my very late check-in. I arrived 2 a.m. and had no troubles to get into my room. Breakfast was exceptional, plenty of variety including traditional cakes and jams made by the staff. Delicious! Also I appreciated water dispenser a lot even in the winter time, so I can only imagine how handy it will be in the hot summer. Staff was super nice and warm and helpful! All of them! Thank You so much for the wonderful week I had with you. Super nice and safe place for solo traveler ;)

I just want to convey many thanks and best wishes furthermore to the entire team of Axiothea! An extremely kind and warm people that are very attentive to the guests needs or any arisen request . Breakfast was delicious, various and much more than sufficient. Everything was nice and tidy The location has an exceptional position which offers an magnificent view toward city coast and offcourse, the amazing Mediteranea. And the cherry from the top cake was the beautiful soul name Lika, front desk reception lady to whom I'm truly thankful for all her helpful and patience dedication and explanations! Congrats for everything what you do there, as hosts and many happy succesful years furthermore due to your jubilee celebration!

Nothing to mention

Possibly the best value in Cyprus. Billed as a two-star hotel, it's everything else that ranks it above: LOCATION - if Paphos has the best sunset in the world, the sea view rooms have the best vantage point. If you know you know, where else could it be? Solid breakfast included - eggs, meat, fresh veggies. Attentive service. Very well managed hotel. Did I mention location? In the heart of Ktima, basically the start of it - restaurants, shops, walkability, museums nearby. Free parking lot adjacent. A bed, a bathroom and a lock on the door... and then some more.

Nothing. Stayed here twice. If I didn't like it, I wouldn't come back.

There was a great view over Paphos from our balconies. I loved sitting and watching the sun set over the sea and the view first thing in the morning. The buffet breakfasts were always good, fresh and delicious and there was always something new to try. The view again was excellent. There were local sausages, bacon interesting omelettes etc if you wanted something hot and a good choice of cold meats, cheeses, breads and the usual cereals and fresh juices The home made preserves were lovely with some unusual local ones. I could go on.. The bean to cup coffee machine was appreciated and the cakes were delicious. The air conditioning was efficient, the beds comfortable and the rooms and public areas always spotless. They put our 3 rooms together which was appreciated. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful.

A room safe would have been useful but we knew there wouldn't be one so we were prepared

Everything important about staying in a space away from home was met at the Axiothea. -Beautiful space with an unparalleled hilltop view on the outside, spacious yet intimate family atmosphere on the inside. -Clean and quality bedding -Inclusive buffet that is just right in quantity, quality, and variety with care to minimize waste, with attentive staff at the ready to move items through, keeping a supply of fresh food available at all times, and clearing the table efficiently so no guests had to wait for a table made for a very pleasant and relaxing dining experience. -The staff goes above and beyond to help guests feel welcomed, and cared for, addressing all requests in a prompt manner. We arrived early in the day, walked up to the counter to ask if we could check in early, and were handed keys, given a complimentary 1;5 liter bottled water, and told our room was ready for a complimentary 5 hour early checking! We were astounded! We took the lift and got to our door and was unable to open the door with the key we were given, thinking for sure we were given the wrong key. The receptionist personally walked us back to our door and showed us how to open it with a little trick. She asked which country our electronics came from and offered to loan us adapters from a basket of adapters. Again such personal and prompt attention to our issues was one example of many that made our stay at the Axiothea stood apart from all the places where we have stayed. The room was spotless with just the right amount of furniture. The bed was hands-down THE most comfortable mattress in our hotel experience! If you like firm, you are in for a treat!

Nothing I didn’t like.

The location Is good, close to the city center with bars and restaurants. It's also close to the bus stop. It's situated on a hill. As a solo female traveler I felt safe. The breakfast was really good, lots of varieties. They have gluten free bread if you are allergic. The staff is very kind and helpful. I loved the view from the hotel breakfast room.

Room doors and windows did not protect against noise from the outside. Luckily there weren't many guests in the hotel during my stay so it wasn't a big problem. The rooms are clean in general, I would just point out the drawers inside that were dusty.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The location is very convenient—just a short walk from the bus station and close to the old town. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a sea view, which was a lovely surprise. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay!

The only minor downside is that it’s a bit of a walk (around 30 minutes) to reach the promenade. Also, the internet was down on my last day, which wasn’t the hotel’s fault but worth noting. And, guests can be a bit noisy :(
