We chose this hotel as a plan b after a bad experience with Airbnb, and we liked it! The room was really big, the bed super comfortable. The place is quite centric, located nearby the plaza de Los novios, so there’s lots of restaurants in the area. Despite that we didn’t hear too much noise and could sleep well at night (maybe because we got a room on the second floor). It’s also not too far away from the Bay Area. The people of the hotel were extremely nice and helpful.

The pool and the resting area next to it were a bit small.

Cute hotel, nice rooms and comfortable. The hotel doesn't have a lift, but they put me on the first floor by my request so that wasn't an issue at all.. I had a decent sized room with a large comfortable bed. Strong WiFi so I could do some work and the included breakfast made this a nice place to stay. Just be sure to order the breakfast when you arrive, I didn't understand that and so they had to make an exception to prepare mine in the morning.

The location is just off the Plaza de Novios, which is the main party zone in Santa Marta. Not much of an issue for me, but it is noisy late into the night and you have to pay attention because there is a lot of activity and some crime/drug use right on that square. Not much the hotel can do, and for some people being that close to the party is a plus. For me, it just was what it was.

- Good location, the music wasn’t as noisy as in other hotels similarly located. We could barely hear it in our room, although there was a time with lots of taxis beeping their horns which was quite annoying. - staff were super friendly and helpful - breakfast was good - beds were super comfortable - wifi was very good - nice big towels - I did see some of the comments from other people about rooms being dark, there are sufficient lights to keep it well lit and at least in our room we had an external facing window. - great bathroom in my opinion.

- I think the bins in the bathroom should have a cover, this would be a good change especially as all tissue has to be thrown in the bins - it’s a bit weird for me that they take the breakfast order the night before, as sometimes we don’t know what we may want in the morning. Not a big issue and I can imagine it’s to ensure ingredients are available just a bit random.

Hotel has a tiny little pool which is a nice alternative to the dirty beach. The room was spacious and silent. Comfy bed. Very good night’s sleep compared to a hotel by the beach. Staff were helpful.

Located on a tiny street that felt slightly shady with a couple of guys constantly sleeping on the street by the entrance (they turned out not to be harmful, but initially was strange). Breakfast- limited choice and small portions. Check-in at 15 and not a single minute earlier.

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Mia! The hotel itself is lovely, but what truly made our experience exceptional was Andres’ incredible hospitality. He went above and beyond to accommodate us, storing our luggage after checkout and even offering us a room to freshen up before our night bus. His kindness and attentiveness made all the difference. Highly recommend Casa Mia for anyone visiting Santa Marta!

The staff are excellent, the breakfast provided is filling and cooked well. The location is amazing, right near the Parque de novio with grey restaurants and bars. It's two streets away from the beach, really clean and the swimming pool is a nice addition to the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and cannot recommend it enough!

This hotel is located steps from the main street in the old town. They keep the front gates locked at all times for safety as it's quite a busy area. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfasts and simple but yummy. The pricing is incredible and the rooms have a stocked mini bar with wines, beers, soda and snacks.

You'll have to ask for fresh towels or they won't change them out. No major complaints.

I really enjoyed this boutique hotel could use a little updating but very comfortable. Has a mini pool upstairs. Beds and linens very nice. Lots of hot water. Wifi sucks. Did not have any noise from the bars across the street during my stay but the car horns honking till all hours. one lane one way street and the taxis stop at the park and won’t move for anyone until the get a customer. The hotel even provide ear plugs in there personal care dish. Get a room at the very back of the hotel upper floors. Check in time is 3 no earlier period. They will store your bags for you. Right in the restaurant and tourist area. I would stay here again. I left a tip for the maid hanging over the dresser. And she never touched it. Had to go deliver it to her.

Price was amazing! We stayed here for 8 days for our one year anniversary and EVERYONE was so kind and generous. Anything we needed during our stay they were quick to ensure we were taken care of. Hotel is right next to the park and about a 3 minute walk to the beach.

They gave us an upgrade and my room had space for three people instead of one :) The room was big and modern. The hotel has a small and very cosy pool available until very late :) the breakfast was great ! The hotel is located in the heart of Santa Marta historic Center !

It bothered me a bit that we had to wear bracelets with the name of the hotel during our stay.
