The Dulima Suite was very spacious with a huge bathroom including a jacuzzi and large shower. Mini fridge was helpful. The staff was very attentive and helped with transportation and laundry. Great to have clean clothes when traveling. The town is a true gem. Instantly relaxing after days in Bogota. The vibe is so laid back that we hated to leave. The suites are separate from the older part of the building and very modern. Breakfast was fruit, cereal and choice of eggs and pancakes (pangueques).

Not a complaint just be aware that some minimum Spanish is helpful. Not much English spoken in rural areas. The suites were great but relatively expensive ($100+ nt USD) compared to other lodging in the area. Worth it for us.

The location of the hotel was excellent as well as the room and breakfast. We felt very comfortable and safe two blocks from the main street about 5 blocks to main plaza an Cathedral to connect to jeep tours to many other areas like Valle del Cocora. We did 4 blocks away zipline, horseback ridding a few times, climbed the 250 stairs to mirador .It is also close to little bars and many restaurants like Lauritas. The hotel also arranged an Uber to our next destination . Parking on site is included

We arrived from Bogota into Pereira, haggled a Taxi at the airport (from $85,000 to $160,000 COP), & had a very pleasant journey 1hr onwards to Salento. The hotel & town are just superbly cute. We arrive about 12pm, they stored our luggage & we went for a stroll. The big restaurant immediately at the top of the road, on the corner with a balcony, is just amazingly cute and excellent quality. The town Salento is just adorable. Enough said. The hotel let us in around 2pm as the room was ready. Really nice, clean, simple decor. Loved the vibe. As described. Spacious for two medium sized luggaes and simple travellers. Loved the full length Mirror/ lighting all good for makeup (I struggled in other Hotels!) There's no form of Fan or AirCon though. But it felt so safe, so we opened the "French windows" and just pulled the blind down, to let air in. Overall great, simple, met the needs of the type of stay in this town. Everywhere is rustic and cute, so just don't moan in case you were expecting anything else - you've probably chosen the wrong kind of village ;-)

I wouldn't go as far as saying "didn't like" - but you have to accept there's no fan/aircon. But we made do as mentioned in the main review!

The room was clean and comfortable with nice high sealings. It was a nice looking place overall. The breakfast was ok, but not very diverse.

We came quite early so had to wait for the check in after a sleepless night. They don't have any comfortable seating for waiting and despite having many empty rooms it took very long to get our room. Of course check in times should be respected, but they should think of getting a few comfortable couches or something for people who might have to wait around, they do have the space for it.

Great location, close to the main street with some great restaurants literally around the corner. The bed was huge and comfortable and the shower was one of the best we’ve had. Breakfast in the restaurant was really good and with a view.

The only thing that let it down was there was no external window, only one into the central hallway which we didn’t want to leave open for security reasons (not that we felt unsafe in any way). The room got really hot and there was no fan or air con which made it an uncomfortable night’s sleep. If this could be solved for (putting a fan in all rooms) I would score it even higher. However, when we asked for a fan in the middle of the night, they did supply one to their credit.

Excellent location within walking distance to town square, shops and restaurants. Free breakfast was delicious with various options. Room was very clean with toiletries provided. Hotel does not have AC so depending on the weather the room could get warm at times but the hotel provides a standing fan. We visited in May, temperatures were in low-mid 70's and we were comfortable while using the fan at night.

The place is clean, good hot shower, comfortable bed. Nice bar open 4 days. Good breakfast and it has a parking lot.

The bedroom did not have a closet or place to hang clothes. If your room is on the first floor the lobby can be noisy at night. If you are a light sleeper bring your earplugs as the church rings it’s bells and plays loud music starting at 5:30am.

It’s our second time in this hotel. Just as the first time, the staff was friendly, wonderful and ready to help. The location was excellent close Camino Real were all the excitement is. We recommend to our friends and we will be back when we return to Salento

The stay was great- we booked two bedrooms. they were newly built and absolutely amazing! both rooms had jacuzzi and a jacuzzi bathtub. The hotel has a good location - close to the mirador, the Willy’s to go to Cócora Valley and coffee farms. Also the commercial street Calle Real was close by and full of cafes, restaurants and handcrafts. The hostel restaurant is also an open door restaurant with many traditional dishes for dinner. The breakfast had eggs, fruit and juice. Service was good and we enjoyed our stay.

The coffee at the breakfast was TERRIBLE, drinkable! positive: each room has a coffee machine (filtered ) and a bag of coffee which was nice to prepare. every morning of stay we decided to make our coffee in the room and bring it down to the breakfast area.

Excellent room of it's in the room with Jacuzzi. Beautiful view and very very comfortable beds. Spacious room and appreciated the daily refill of water and coffee. Breakfast was also good.

Extremely extremely noisy. The rooms do not have ac or heater so the only way to keep air circulation is to open the windows.. which means the party noise (music till 3-4am daily) comes into the room. Also the loud music from the dining area one floor below travels upwards. So it was not a comfortable stay in This regard. We hardly got any sleep till 4am. May work if you plan to stay up anyways, but after a long day at the hikes and coffee tours one needs to rest
