My wife and I recently traveled from Ontario to Newfoundland in an electric vehicle, staying at economy motels such as yours, along the way. We were rather disappointed that no economy motels provided overnight EV charging. I would highly recommend that economy motel owners consider installing Level 2 240 volt EV chargers of approximately 30-40 amp capacity connected to a network such as FLO or Chargepoint. The network would collect the cost through their network RFID card or app to compensate the motel owner. A reasonable charge of about $1.50/hr. would be much more attractive to me, then staying at a luxury motel and paying $50 to $100 more per night and receiving “free” charging for approximately $10 worth of EV charging.

Everything was as I expected. The motel is clean, very friendly staff and helps you if you need guidance. Have walking distance many restaurants and the beach is in 2 min drive. Yes, the motel is old and there would be room for a few updates, but it is very clean, free parking, free Wi Fi, the parking lot is freshly paved, they have a swimming pool, and it should be noted that the price is for "Motel" not "3 * Hotel".

They don't have breakfast, but there is within walking distance, McDonald's, Tim's.. , you can choose what to buy for breakfast. Plus you have a fridge and microwave in the room and you can buy from the store and prepare what you want for breakfast.

The hotel was easy to find and in a quiet neighborhood. Parking was adequate. The manager was very helpful, especially with a mixup in scheduling. The kitchen area was nice, as was the heated pool. There was a mixup (possibly on my part) in double booking, but the manager was accommodating.

No place to hang towels, either in bathroom or external sink. Also, no place to put toiletry bags near the sink. The sofa bed was futon style and rather hard in the middle of the bed. There was a mixup in double booking, and the non-cancellation policy made for some problems.

Great to have an option of a family room with separate bedroom. Unit was clean and spacious. Having comfortable seating and kitchen was great.

Property is a bit dated but that is part of the charm…sort of a classic old school motel. The stairs to our upstairs room were in need of some repairs.

The staff and owners are very nice and they try the best to provide comfort and accommodation for every needs. The room was very clean, they changed towels daily and picked up the garbage. The pool can be used with confidence. Parking lot is large and safe. You can bbq beside the parking lot. I highly recommend this hotel. I've stayed here a few times just this year and I'll definitely be back with pleasure. The location is very good, walking distance to fast food or restaurants, close to Parlee beach (2 min drive) and gas stations. Very easy to get out of the highway.

The bed was comfortable, the pool was very warm. Quite place, breakfast was always set out for you to choose what you would like. The owner always said good morning

The bathroom had Used soap left in the shower, hair in the tub, bathroom mirror wasn't clean. Dresser drawers/ nightstand were dirty inside, phone had hair on it, cutlery tray was dirty. Extra blanket had a huge blood stain. All the towels were stained and hairy.

It was clean comfortable close to everything staff was amazing

Sink is outside bathroom bathroom could use a little updating but very clean

The pool was nice, the room was large, kitchen setup was OK. The dining table was very convenient.

Small sink outside the bathroom, tiny bathroom, no place to hang towels or clothes. The futon-style sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable.

We had the family room. It ended up being quite spacious and perfect for 4 adults.

Certain parts of the outside of the hotel look a little rough. However, this was one of those "don't judge a book by its cover" kind of situations!

Centrally located for our purpose. It was fairly quite.

The WIFI was no good. Could not get a good connection to be able to use.
