For my purposes, visiting my daughter who lives in south Calgary, the location was excellent. I did not use any of the facilities such as the pool, so can't really comment on that, apart from the fact that they were available. My room was spacious and well appointed. The breakfast, in the lobby area of the main building, was good and reasonably priced. I found the staff friendly and knowledgeable.

My room was in the Atrium Building and faced into the interior of the building, so was quite dark. In the mornings it could be quite noisy due to the sound of people in the lobby area reverberating up through the open centre of the building. The Wi-fi was only free if you are a Marriott-Bonvoy member.

The staff was so great and very helpful with everything we needed. It’s been a long time since Ive stayed in a hotel where everyone was very attentive and treated us like important guests! The restaurant was amazing! Both the atmosphere and delicious elevated menu. Not the usual boring unhealthy options usually offered. Also our waitress was above and beyond. We also needed to store some freezer items and the staff immediately said “of course we can do that for you!” I will never stay anywhere else when visiting south Calgary.

The hotel was quiet and rooms were nice too. I enjoyed the toiletries provided, found the quality of TV and other room amenities to meet my expectations. Although there is a pool in the hotel, there was not a sight of any chlorine smells which is exactly what I would expect from hotels but often not the case.

Would have liked to have found an extra flannel blanket in the closet. One of our rooms air conditioners was not working properly, the temperature in the room wasn't terribly hot but a cooler room is best for optimal sleeping.

Breakfast meals tasted great! The pools were nice. Staff was polite!

One waitress needed more training in the restaurant. Served us hot chocolate that was cold. My grandson spilt it because the cup was really heavy for him. She never topped our coffee, we asked another waitress on shift. She tried to take our extra ticket when we only had three meals because our one grandchild only ate my toast. Waitress was a bit scattered. The woman that served us the day before for breakfast was a phenomenal server. She was absolutely incredible. Gave her a good tip!

All the above. Bed very comfortable. Sage restaurant food very good. Room well appointed. Staff courteous, friendly and helpful.

No full menu restaurant on premises. Staff not wearing masks. Dangerous sharp shard of hard plastic about 2 cm x 1 cm found in Sage restaurant carrot cake. Staff apologetic and made small reduction in bill though not requested. We hope notice of this alarming incident was passed on to administration.

Breakfast was great. Service not so but thank you to one young lady who noticed no menus after a long wait then breakfast came asked three girls for a coffee warm up as well as butter for pancakes & never came. Wished I new the young lady paying attention as she then served us well & gave us coupons for a free breakfast

Location, facilities and staff

It's a bit pricey considering I was a solo travel but could only book a room with 2 double beds

Even though my room was on the first floor, near the parking lot, it was very quiet. I was never disturbed by outside noises. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. I had a small problem with the shower head but when I adresser it to the staff, it was taken care of immediately.

My only critique, and it’s a small one, was that there was no booklet or something comparable, with information like nearby restaurants or attractions or shopping. No information about the hotel amenities or the hours, etc.

Hotel is in a very convenient area of Calgary close to C-Train stops and multiple grocery stores. The facility is large and clean on the inside, and the rooms were very clean and laid out as advertised.

The bedsheets could have been more fresh, but the bedding was clean overall. If you're in the other side of the building, the elevators are the main way you're getting around and it takes some time if there is lots of traffic. Wish there was a more convenient stairs option.

We were very happy and content with the facilities. Parking was free. The room was a little cool but we were given a heater very quickly and it was nice soon after that. This is the second time we have stayed at this location and we recommend it. It is close for the places we were going and the roads were not too busy. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable.
