Absolutely gorgeous hotel! The lush greenery and architecture gave the hotel a true oasis feeling in the middle of the city. Our room was beautiful and the bed super comfortable. Great location in walking distance of many sights and popular restaurants. The staff was very kind and helpful. The pools were great to relax in after (and/or before) a hot day. We will definitely stay here again - I can only recommend it to anyone!

The breakfast was delicious, but since the menu stayed the same and was rather limited, it was getting a bit difficult to choose something that would satisfy us by the third day. But this is just a minor thing - we still enjoyed it.

Tranquility and location. Staff were mostly very attentive but when.not paying attention in serving areas it was a little noticeable. They were all lovely though. Breakfast was outstanding with plenty of choice and was unlimited. Pools are lovely. We had a private pool too, which was amazing. Mosquito protection was second to none - nets & zapper in room, and sprays on every table at lush bar area. 2nd visit after 7 yrs ago and we love it just as much. This a a definite go-to place in Phnom Penh.

Wine selection was limited - bearing in mind there is an excellent wine retailer around the corner. Also, wine was not included in happy hour drinks selection. Finding good wine in SEA can be difficult at times so we felt that the Pavilion was missing a trick there. Although not the fault of the hotel, the tuk tuk drivers outside are a bit harrasing - use for a full day but for short hops around town, use Grab - so quick and cheap.

This property is an oasis in a big, noisy city, with peaceful gardens, 2 swimming pools, poolside dining and attentive service. The included breakfast had many options, the Happy Hour was very popular and the lunch and dinner menu was also diverse and well presented. We were a little envious of our friends who took the private pool room and encourage anyone who can fit this into your travel budget to take advantage of this marvelous upgrade.

We had a standard double room here, which was roomy and well appointed, but all windows were glazed, so having no outside view for 5 days felt a bit cavelike.

From my first interaction emailing the Pavillion with booking questions, to our warm farewell from staff, my 10-day stay was a delight. The heritage building has been tastefully made into a small, boutique hotel and the lush pool is a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Phnom Penh. I used the hotel bikes to explore the riverside and visit nearby markets and cafes (Backyard Cafe makes great food for those, like me, with lots of allergy needs). The chef and wait staff were excellent and had magically been briefed on my allergies, knowing what to bring or avoid, making dining in easy and fuss-free. Our quiet suite accommodated our 18yr daughter comfortably in her own little nook, and the rooms are stylishly decorated. The veranda overlooking the pool was beautiful and secluded. But it is the staff that really makes this place - organising tours and cars (for not inflated prices), giving information about the city, helping weigh bags for pre-flight departure, sourcing electric plugs, making great cocktails, giving good massages.. nothing seemed too big an ask. We will definitely be back!

My recent stay at The Pavilion in Phnom Penh was nothing short of exceptional. They were friendly, helpful, and always went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was memorable. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and valued. The staff's dedication to providing excellent service was evident in every interaction. The hotel's location is another major highlight. Situated in the heart of Phnom Penh, The Pavilion offers easy access to the city's top attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. Whether you're interested in exploring the Royal Palace, visiting the National Museum, or indulging in delicious local cuisine, The Pavilion is the perfect base for your stay. In conclusion, my stay at The Pavilion was an absolute delight. The amazing pools, spacious rooms, excellent staff, and unbeatable location made it the perfect choice for my trip to Phnom Penh. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable experience in this vibrant city.

The only disappointment was having to leave.

Outstanding location in central Phnom Penh close to the Royal Palace, National Museum, Independence and Constitution Monuments, great restaurants and much more. The hotel is a very nicely renovated historical building with a lovely lobby, spacious and quiet rooms and an expansive pool with an outdoor bar/restaurant. The outdoor areas are very quiet and comfortable despite the busy street just outside the hotel. The food in the restaurant and the happy hour at the bar were fantastic. Staff were very friendly, helpful and spoken outstanding English. We would definitely stay again at the Palace Hotel.

The Pavilion is beautiful small and intimate hotel, tranquil and peaceful in the heart of Phnom Penh, close to The Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, the Museum and also the lively downtown Bassac Street was 15 minutes walk away. First view delights the senses, as you enter from the street directly into the garden pool area, and behold the pretty yellow painted 1920’s villa with balcony surrounded by lush greenery. The entrance path is one side the other is the restaurant. The original building was the home of Queen Kossamak, King Sihanouk's mother. There are two swimming pools. You will receive the royal treatment here.

There was really nothing I didn’t like. It is small hotel, and the atmosphere is quiet, reflective and relaxed. Not a huge amount of space around the sun pool ( 10 Sun loungers ) more seating around the shady lush pool. More a place to recover from a party than to party. However we loved spending the last two days of our Cambodian adventure here and I would stay here again and would recommend friends and family to stay here.

This place is incredible! A calm oasis in the middle of the city. From the moment we pushed the front door open we were greeted with peace, calm and such welcoming smiles. We could stop and breathe. Every detail has been thought of and there are so many nooks and crannies to explore. Both pools are beautiful and the staff are so accommodating. We booked a private pool room which I would highly recommend. The water is slightly cool, but it's larger than I was expecting. We checked out early on our final morning and a cute breakfast box made from woven palm leaves was waiting in reception for us. The rooms are spacious with refillable jugs of water, a gorgeous large bed. Room service, menus and even a waiter call option are all available from QR codes in your room, restaurant table or pool side. I honestly could not fault this place. Possibly the best hotel we have ever stayed in!

Absolutely nothing!

What an amazing find! An oasis of peace in the middle of a busy city. The Pavilion is a superb hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel facilities are amazing. We booked a superior room which turned out to be a small ‘cabin’ in a private gated section! It was fantastic. Big comfy bed, good hot shower and all the in room facilities you need! Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed eating next to the pool area. We walked everywhere from the hotel. The Pavilion is a very high quality hotel for a very reasonable price.

Our only regret is we only had one night here!

The Pavilion is a beautiful oasis in the city. Peaceful, with lush gardens and buildings full of original character as well as modern additions and all comforts you could ask for. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant were fabulous and the on site massages exceptional. The location is within walking distance / short ride to the Royal Palace and National museum, 10-15 mins by tuk tuk for the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and a further 30 ish to the Killing fields. A wonderful first stay in Cambodia. We couldn’t have asked for more.
