Towels should be changed during the stay.

Very good stay. Overall, the building is a little old, but it feels very clean. An upper side of the old buildings is the space. The room was very comfy with a lot of space. The hotel is very clean. The common areas are just ok. It is nothing to be used as a great difference from other places. But the fact that there are some facilities (gym, sauna, etc) in the building sure make the experience even better.

Actualy, I liked everything. I'd only improve the maintenance of the building. It happened two times. There was a shortage of water due to some problems in utilities.

Fantastic well priced hotel in a nice and safe area! The facilities were modern, room was huge, clean and comfortable, and the pool and shop located in the hotel were very convenient. Personnel were friendly too. The area of Botafogo while a bit expensive, is residential and therefore feels both safe and less busy than the more crowded tourist areas/Central. Oh and bonus points for the balcony/window view, from our room I could see Christ the Redeemer from the bed!

While the actual check-in was easy, we were told over Whatsapp that we had to download an app as a digital room key. This was quite difficult to do and annoying, and after reaching out to customer service we were told we actually just have to go to the front door and get a physical keycard from the lobby.. Bit weird but nothing too bad.

The facial recognition to enter is super safe especially if you are a lonely female traveller like myself. The room was spacious I think it overall needs a deep clean ie artwork in walls and the bathroom needs regrouting and the hairdryer needs upgrading The store inside the building is brilliant ! Staff were so helpful and friendly

My stay was quite comfortable, and we felt secure thanks to the attentive staff and the convenience of a 24/7 reception and paid parking. The location was excellent and provided great value for the price. The room was OK-equipped, and the shower was particularly nice. Although I didn't have the chance to use the pool, it seemed very inviting. I would definitely recommend this place, and repeat the stay with my wife and our baby.

Some constructive improvements could be considered to create an even better guest experience at "Lobie Botafogo Privilege". Replacing burned-out light bulbs and ensuring that essential kitchen appliances are fully stocked would improve overall convenience. Lastly, I believe "Lobie Botafogo Privilege" could enhance the guest experience by substituting their indoor split AC unit (air conditioning); and incorporating an air fryer into the kitchen would be an excellent way to expand the available cooking options. These improvements would contribute to a more comfortable stay.

The apartment is great for a long term stay. The location is great, the facilities are safe and secure. The staff working there are nice and helpful. The WiFi was fast, and the smart tv worked properly. The kitchen was almost complete, and we cooked a lot of meals at home. The shower water got hot and there was a big window for aeration. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of lights around the apartment. We would stay again.

The floors were DIRTY. There were no kitchen scissors or paper towels. Towel and sheet changes have to be paid for.

Wow, what a lovely stay. My room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and convenient. And yes, I could see Christ the Redeemer from my room, what a beautiful view! The staff were helpful and happy to help. Great location (once you know your way around). Plenty of cafes/restaurants opposite & very near by. Fridge in my room, bonus for my chocolate :) The room was airy, bright and refreshing. Toiletries provided. The shower was nice and warm. The hotel felt secure, you couldn't get into it unless it recognised your face. I would stay here again 100% Thanks guys :)

There is no option for late check-out. The latest they could do was 12-midday (which was appreciated but really need a couple of hours longer, knowing I had 24 hrs of travelling ahead of me). Check-in/registering- I had to complete a form beforehand via some app thing (which asked far too many questions & wanted a photo, etc, which I kinda get), but when you check-in at the hotel they ask you to fill in a similar form & then take another photo of you! Found it all a bit odd. (I get it's about security, but do 1 thing or the other, not both). Other than this, it was a super nice, comfortable stay.

Location was great. Very close to everything you need such as supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, bars, shopping malls, the metro station and also you could walk to Urca, Botafogo Beach and Copacabana beach from here. My room had the view of Christ the Redemeer from my balcony and window.

Cleanliness could be improved. They do make-up the room daily by only making-up the bed and removing the trash but you have to pay extra to get your sheets and towels changed no matter how long you stay. They did not even changed my bedsheets and towels when I extended my stay for another week and when I asked, they told me I have to pay even though the extension of my stay was a different booking.

The host made me feel really welcome. I arrived early, so I was allowed me to leave my bags whilst the room was being cleaned. Then they took my bags to the room for me. A special touch was that they provided complimentary local snacks and drinks. I liked how it felt 'homely' and had little details like real plants and some artificial plants. There was an iron and ironing board, a clock, kitchen towels, lots of cooking utensils, cups, plates and cutlery, etc. Even magnets on the fridge of where to go and where to eat. I liked the no 'key system'. This made it so much easier going in and out plus you don't have to worry about losing your key or handing it back at checkout. There was a lift and security cameras plus a 24-hour security guard downstairs The space was laid out like a proper home.

I liked the property very much But to improve next time, it would be good to know where to put the rubbish. Needed instructions on how to operate the TV. The windows in the kitchen and bathroom. I wasn't sure if people could see in. There was nowhere to dry clothes. It said 'private beach'. This might be a mistake. It didn't matter though because the sea and beach was a very short walk.

It was really fast. The receptionist just did a fast check in and gave me the key card.

My stay was more than one week so I asked for one more trousseau, but they said ‘we are not a Hotel’ so I think it’s slogan. If you stay 1 night or 12 you will keep using the same towels but you can pay R$100 to change it.
