Good vibe 🤙 The second time I visited Florianópolis, this time I was interested in the northern part and northern beaches. I found out that this location is a very good point, as a base to more lonely and beautiful beaches around, but supermarkets and, city-style good one beach nearby at the same time. Especially good at the end of the season in May. Here are some people and life yet. warmer, shallower water. When I checked in and saw all those many crazy rules and fines declared on the reception, rooms, kitchen, and everywhere, I thought I'd stay one night and find some other hostel, but I stayed over 2 weeks :-) They probably made them more like last argument if warnings and speaking do not work for some people. Floripa has very sharp seasons. In the hot time, it is a crazy lot of people, and then in the low season, very few. So, some of the rules and behavior make sense because of this. The system is just working, and everybody is happy. I hope.

Rules could be a bit more flexible for seasons/situations. The price of 330 ml Heineken - 9 reals (~1.6 USD) is 2 times more than the supermarket and 1.2-1.5 times more than the night kiosk or even bar with live music. Problem that this hostel prohibits alcohol outside of the hostel... Well, in high season, I would understand why... Some understanding. Beach is nearby; Not big problem to go and drink outside and keep hostel quieter and cleaner. But between high and low season when there are so few tourists, it is not so good... It makes people more disconnected during vacation. Or feel their pockets are empty too quickly. It is destroying good vibe certainly. Otherwise, it would be 10 of 10 for sure, amazing people, place!

I like it's super big space, you can always find a place to stay no matter how many people here. three female restrooms so that you don't need to wait. kitchen is not bad actually, fully-equipped, well you can't blame the cleaning issue for the hostel, sometimes that's personal problem, as I see, they're trying to keep it clean.

I was staying at the hostel because of night bus, and they ask me to leave around dinner time (or pay the extra fee, I guess) I know it is probably common things in South Brazil, but some hostel they let the people stay for free after check out, the policy…… depends on the hostel.

A lot of cleaning 🧹🧼. Nice space to hang out 🌴. Swimming pool 💦 1 block from the supermarket. 2 blocks from the beach. Very nice team of employees. Cheap options to eat around here (marmitas 20 reais)

That you can't take alcohol.

everyone was nice in the hostel. literally walking distance to the beach.

I wish they invest in pillows, it is too thin. but other than that everything was awesome.

The location is superp, staff and guests are so friendly, and the place is safe.

The shower water was not hot enough for the winter, some guests left the room really disorganized, and the kitchen was overall not clean (the fridge was smelly and the dish cloth dirty)
