Friendlly staff on reception at check in. In person nformation on site and map of town given with places of interest highlighted. supply of tea bags etc and kitchen cleaning items. Excellent pool facility- good size, clean and shade.

Wasn't clear from description and pictures that the bed was in the kitchen/living area - Would have preferred separate sleeping area. Would consider different accommodation if returned. Although the accommodation was clean on first appearance- When I moved one of bed side cabinets to retrieve an item it was full of dust - furniture clearly had not been moved to clean for a very long time. One of bowls hairline crack - need to check crockery after every visit and replace if necessary.

We liked the location and relaxed, quiet atmosphere of the park. The cabin itself was good considering its age.

I am 75yo and I felt quite unsteady in the shower as the floor tiles were quite slippery. I wonder if it would be a good idea to provide a non slip shower mat for us old farts. Just a suggestion 😉

Location amenities

The shower needs a good clean with Exit Mould or similar product. The veneration blind in the kitchen is in need of a good clean. Both Venetian blinds had the opening rods missing.

Reception lady Mel was very helpful,friendly and her customer service was 10+, previous ladies working at reception weren't as nice as Mel so a big Thank you Mel.made me feel welcomed, open to conversation and just down to earth love the atmosphere . The room was just what i wanted as I travel alone and i felt safe and secure .

Place was very clean and quiet. There was a swimming pool. It was not heated, but other than that it was great

This isn't a major criticism. The place was old. It would have been better if the unit was new, but for the price I paid it was to be expected

The bed was new and very comfortable. It had a quilted mattress protector which worked really well.

I mistook the 2nd Discovery Park for the one I was staying in. The map I had been given had similar names but I could not find my cabin. Eventually, I showed the map to a member of staff. I took her a while to work out that it was of the other Park. I had no problem after that.

Very bright and spacious and warm on the cold nights.

My parking area. it was on a corner along the side of the chalet. The big trucks from the mine made it very hard for me to park and I my car was going to be damaged. It wasn’t but I still had that feeling when the workmen came back to their accommodation.

Only slept the 1 night there was great

The inconsiderate noise people staying around us and the fact I left something there and I rang up spoke to a female at reception who brushed me off and said she would ring back and never the way she spoke to me I had great doubt she would even bother to check for me let alone get back to me

Great Bed... comfortable and vert clean room... bit cramped, but that could just be me..

I ride a motorbike and like to be able to quickly see my bike from my room.. I couldnt do this.. Nort a big thing given the security of the park appeared to me more than adequate..

It was amazing, room was beautiful and tidy and a play area and the pool place to stay there recommended to stay there again also the staff are nice there aswell
